Krispy Kreme to close downtown Raleigh store
Fifteen months after opening a store on City Plaza in downtown Raleigh, Krispy Kreme will close the outlet, a company spokesman said Friday.

Krispy Kreme will shutter its store on Fayetteville Street on Sunday, after the festivities tied to the NHL All-Star Game have ended, spokesman Brian Little said.
The store opened in October 2009 as part of the $14.8 million City Plaza opening and downtown revitalization effort. but Little said there wasn't enough volume to stay in business.
