UNC grad named senior VP at NewBridge Bank

A University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill graduate has been appointed the senior vice president and director of mortgage banking for NewBridge Bank, officials announced Monday.

GREENSBORO, N.C. — A University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill graduate has been appointed the senior vice president and director of mortgage banking for NewBridge Bank, officials announced Monday.

Beth Eller is based at 100 N. Cherry St., Suite 400 in Winston-Salem. She reports to David Barksdale, executive vice president and chief banking officer for NewBridge Bank.

In her new role, Eller is responsible for production and operations of all residential mortgage origination and servicing at NewBridge.

A native of Liberty, Eller has bachelor’s degree in political science. She and her husband, John, live in Clemmons with their two sons, Gus and Josh.

"Beth's deep understanding of the mortgage industry and outstanding managerial abilities position her for great success in her new role," Barksdale said. "We are excited and pleased to have Beth leading our mortgage team as they help our clients fulfill their financial goals."

NewBridge is headquartered in Greensboro.
