— American Eagle Airlines will begin nonstop jet service between Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport and Fayetteville Municipal Airport on June 10.

The daily service will be aboard 44-seat Embraer ERJ-140 jets.

"Fayetteville is extremely pleased to have American Airlines returning to Fayetteville Regional Airport with new service to Dallas/Fort Worth," Mayor Tony Chavonne said in a statement. "This is an additional convenience and opportunity for travelers from the Sandhills Region."

American Eagle last served the Fayetteville market in 1994.
