Downtown Raleigh restaurant closes
Yancey's, a Cajun restaurant in downtown Raleigh, closed Tuesday, according to former employees.
Posted — UpdatedRALEIGH, N.C. — Yancey's, a Cajun restaurant in downtown Raleigh, closed Tuesday, according to former employees.
The restaurant opened two years ago as part of the remake of Fayetteville Street from a pedestrian mall to a two-way street.
Employees who showed up for work Tuesday morning said they were told their final paychecks would be available in the afternoon.
