The award brings a three-year, $350,000 grant to pursue research, as well as mentoring from senior faculty at each faculty member's institution, the foundation said in an announcement Thursday.
"The award is given to junior faculty who show outstanding promise as future leaders in academic nursing," the announcement said.
Beeber's research topic that garnered the reward is "Developing Best Nursing Practices in Assisted Living."
