RALEIGH, N.C. — A resolution was reached Thursday to a busing conflict between parents and the Wake County school system.

Buses will run again for all students at Sycamore Creek Elementary School. Children living within 1.5 miles of the new school, at 10921 Leesville Road, had not been offered bus transportation.

The school system announced Thursday that the bus routes from last year, when the school was housed on a different campus, will be reinstated for this school year.

Earlier this week, the school system offered to provided some buses and more sidewalks. However, parents said that fix wouldn't come fast enough to keep their walking students safe.
