FREE $15 Build-A-Bear voucher when you log in by Sunday, July 15

Every Build-A-Bear Bonus Club member in the U.S. is eligible to receive a $15 voucher if you log in to your Build-A-Bear account by midnight on July 15!

These vouchers are valid through August 31, 2018.

They are offering this very generous voucher because the "Pay Your Age Day" event on Thursday had to be shut down early due to safety concerns and huge crowds.

"ST. LOUIS – July 12, 2018 – Build-A-Bear Workshop’s Pay Your Age Day event generated an overwhelming response, resulting in long lines, extensive waits and disappointed Guests. We feel it is important to share that, based on the information available to us before the day began, we could not have predicted this reaction to our Pay Your Age Day event. We understand that many Guests were turned away as, due to safety concerns created by the crowds, authorities in certain locations closed Build-A-Bear stores and, in other locations, we were forced to limit the line. Unfortunately, given these circumstances, we were unable to serve all of our Guests for the Pay Your Age Day event.

In response, we distributed vouchers to Guests, who were present in lines, to be redeemed for a future purchase. We are now making vouchers available to our Build-A-Bear Bonus Club members in the U.S. and Canada who log into their account by midnight on July 15, 2018. Vouchers related to this event will be honored through August 31, 2018.

It is our sincere desire for all of our Guests to enjoy the best Build-A-Bear experience possible. As such, our goal with the voucher extension is to enable us to better flow traffic to the stores over the next several weeks to avoid long lines and wait times as much as possible. Therefore, we strongly encourage Guests to consider delaying their trip to Build-A-Bear, and we appreciate everyone’s understanding and patience in this matter.

Build-A-Bear Workshop takes seriously the privilege of providing our valued Guests with an opportunity to make a furry friend. It is with that spirit that we created our Pay Your Age Day event and the new, year-long Count Your Candles birthday program, where kids 14 and under can “pay their age” for our new Birthday Treat Bear during their birthday month.

This offer is valid for Bonus Club Members (it's free to sign up). The person getting the bear or other furry friend has to be present, so you will need to bring the kids to get them a bear for their age in dollars. The minimum price is $1.00.

Guests who visit a store in person that day can pay their current age, in dollars (U.S. & Canada) or pounds (U.K.), for any Make-Your-Own furry friend available in the store in celebration of the launch of the Build-A-Bear “Count Your Candles” birthday experience. So, how does it work? Everyone is welcome to take part in the Pay Your Age Day deal, regardless of age, as long as they are present in store that day*. Our entire in-store collection of furry friends, including popular licensed characters, will be waiting to be made at the event.

Pro Tips: Adults, parents and guardians are encouraged to enroll in the Build-A-Bear Bonus Club online before arriving at stores on July 12 to save time at checkout. Guests at U.S. and Canada stores can purchase a furry friend unstuffed, if they prefer to come back for stuffing at another time. This offer is only available in stores on one Make-Your-Own furry friend (outfits, sounds, accessories and scents are excluded). The person wishing to pay his or her age must be present at the time of purchase. The offer cannot be combined with any other offers.

A child turning four, for example, would have four candles on her cake and pay $4 USD/ £4 GBP / $4 CAD for Birthday Treat Bear, plus tax.
