Brr! It's cool out there, and the fall weather isn't going anywhere
It feels like fall this morning, and according to WRAL meteorologist Elizabeth Gardner, the cooler temperatures will last this time.
Posted — UpdatedTemperatures were in the low 50s in the Triangle on Thursday, and they won't climb much throughout the day. At 10 a.m., temperatures in Raleigh are expected to hover around 53 degrees, and temperatures could still be below 60 degrees at noon.
The high for Thursday is a fall-like 62 degrees, and overnight lows will be in the low to mid 40s.
Friday will be just a bit warmer, but still mild, with a high of 67 degrees. Both Thursday and Friday will be clear with mostly sunshine before a chance for rain moves in Saturday morning and early afternoon.
According to Gardner, Saturday will not be a washout, and most rain should clear by late afternoon.
Sunday will be much milder and bright, with a cool high of 59 degrees, and Monday will follow a similar pattern before highs renter the mid 60s for next Tuesday.
