RALEIGH, N.C. — At least 10 Broughton High School students are accused of stealing items from fellow students.

The principal says the culprits ransacked a room filled with book bags during a school-wide assembly on Friday. Among the items stolen were iPods and cell phones. Some of the items were later recovered.

The principal said the case has been turned over to the Raleigh Police Department, and that the students could face criminal charges.
