Bridge work to close lanes on I-85 in Orange County
Starting Monday, one lane in each direction of Interstate 85 will be closed between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. through June 15 in Orange County.

HILLSBOROUGH, N.C. — Starting Monday, one lane in each direction of Interstate 85 will be closed between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. through June 15 in Orange County.
The North Carolina Department of Transportation is beginning a project to preserve the bridge that carries N.C. Highway 86 over I-85 in Hillsborough.
Crews will be refurbishing below the deck of the bridge by cleaning and painting.
NCDOT reminds motorists to pay attention to the construction signs, use caution while driving in the area and allow for additional time to reach their destinations
