Breezy, steamy day on tap in Raleigh

RALEIGH, N.C. — Clouds will remain Tuesday after storms moved through central North Carolina on Monday night.

A lingering boundary near Fayetteville keeps a possibility of rain in place, although there’s only a 30 percent chance for rain Tuesday.

The high will be 85 degrees. The air will be steamy as the dew point reaches 70.

It will be a breezy day, with northeast winds at 10 to 15 mph.

Wednesday will warm up to 88 degrees, and the end of the week will have highs in the 90s.

Meteorologists are watching a system moving toward the Gulf of Mexico, which has an 80 percent chance of developing in the next five days, predictions show.
