IT STRUCK ABOUT 5,000 CHILDREN FROM INFANCY TO THEIR SENIOR YEAR IN HIGH SCHOOL. THE CHILDREN WERE DIVIDED INTO GROUPS BASED ON HOW LONG THEY WERE. BREASTFED, FOR EXAMPLE, NOT AT ALL A FEW FOR MORE RESEARCHERS THEN COMPARED STUDENTS TEST SCORES. HERE'S WHAT THEY FOUND. CHILDREN WHO ARE BREASTFED FOR AT LEAST 12 MONTHS WITH 39% MORE LIKELY TO HAVE HIGH TO SCHOOL FOR MET WITH MATH AND ENGLISH. ALSO, THEY WERE 25% LESS LIKELY TO FAIL THE ENGLISH EXAM. RESEARCHERS ALSO POINT THOSE ARE THE HIGHER SOCIOECONOMIC BACKGROUND AND WILL LIKELY TO BREASTFEED, WHICH MEANS THAT CHILDREN HAVE A HIGHER CHANCE OF DOING WELL</p>
