Spc. Steven J. Bishop, 29, of Christiansburg, Va., died in Tikrit while supporting combat operations.

Bishop was assigned to the 422nd Civil Affairs Battalion, 352nd Civil Affairs Command, U.S. Army Civil Affairs and Psychological Operations Command.
