Here's a look at our Best Bets for this weekend!
It isn't often I get to use the words Fishel and disco in the same sentence....
Get ready to boogie down tonight as WRAL Chief Meteorologist Greg Fishel takes you back to the 1970s for a fundraiser at the Museum of Life and Science in Durham.
The event, billed as a Night at the Museum Disco-TECH! Boot up and Boogie Down, will feature food, drinks, entertainment and disco dancing. You can even use available iPads or your own mobile phone to order drinks, upload photos or text or tweet.
No word on if he will be rocking that wig tonight.
Other events:
- Garrison Keillor is bringing the live broadcast of his radio show, A Prairie Home Companion, to the Koka Booth Amphitheatre on Saturday night. The show features music and interviews. Tickets start at $39.50 and are still available. The show starts at 6 p.m.
- It is First Friday in downtown Raleigh! Check out our guide to the fun tonight."
- The Millstock arts and music festival in Sanford on Saturday will feature live music and more than 35 artists selling their work. Be sure to check out the "Chalk It Up" sidewalk chalk art contest, where winners will take home $170 in prizes.
