Because I love my Boppy and couldn't have lived without it in those early months with my own newborns, I'm sharing that The Boppy Company has partnered with the nonprofit Nurse-Family Partnership to provide the infant feeding support pillows to first-time, low-income moms.

North Carolina is one of three states to get the pillows. The Boppy Company's goal is to donate 500 pillows. North Carolina would get about half of them, I'm told.

But just how many moms will get free a free Bobby depends on how many people go to Bobby's website to show their support for the donations.

If you'd like to participate, visit www.Boppy.com/mothersdaysupport and click on a special “Give Your Support” icon. No donation is required.

For every click received between May 1 and May 14, The Boppy Company will donate $1 toward a Boppy pillow to be given to a needy new mom who is enrolled in the Nurse-Family Partnership. The partnership is a national organization that helps first-time, low-income moms. There are about 10 Nurse-Family Partnership locations in North Carolina serving 16 counties.
