Bomb threat forces early closure of Walmart near Triangle Town Center

Raleigh police responded to a call of a bomb threat at the Walmart near Triangle Town Center on Saturday.

RALEIGH, N.C. — Raleigh police responded to a call of a bomb threat at the Walmart near Triangle Town Center on Saturday.

Police were called to 8000 Town Drive and assisted in evacuating the building. The parking lot was also blocked off as police did a walk-through of the building.

Police reported nothing was found, but the store remained closed until it was expected to reopen Sunday morning.
