Bomb squad investigating package left at Wilson County church

Stantonsburg, N.C. — Police are investigating after a suspicious package was found at a Wilson County church on Sunday.
According to officers with the Stantonsburg Police Department, the package was found around 10 a.m. at St. James Holy Church located at 100 N. Main Street.
WRAL crews witnessed a person in full bomb squad gear entering the church.
No one was hurt, and no suspects were in custody.
Officials determined the package did not contain explosives.
