Body found in Vance field
A man cutting grass Thursday morning found a man's body in a Vance County field, authorities said.
Posted — UpdatedHENDERSON, N.C. — A man cutting grass Thursday morning found a man's body in a Vance County field, authorities said.
The field is off Old County Home Road, west of Vance Academy Road, which is a couple miles southwest of Henderson.
Vance County Sheriff Peter White said the body appears to have been in the field for a while. He said it's too early to determine whether foul play was involved in the unidentified man's death.
