<b>RALEIGH, N.C.</b> — A death investigation is underway after a body was found in a creek in a neighborhood on Tuesday.

Before 8:30 a.m., officers responded to a small creek at 4101 North Hills Drive near Generation Drive.

Neighbors said the body was found along a popular greenway or walking trail.

The identity of the person and the cause of death were not available.
