Body Found in Nash County Identified

Middlesex, N.C. — Authorities on Monday identified a body found Friday in Nash County.
The body of Ciriaco Medrano Ponce, 36, of Zebulon, was found in a wooded area off Bryant Road about two miles from Middlesex.
An autopsy determined that Ponce had been killed, authorities said.
The Nash County Sheriff's Office was offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to an arrest. Anyone with information about the case is asked to call the sheriff's office at 252-459-4121 or 252-459-1570.
