CINCINNATI — Some plush Bob Ross dolls got first dibs on riding a rollercoaster, making for a cute video.

Ross hosted the instructional art show "The Joy of Painting," on PBS in the '80s and '90s, taking viewers on a ride through his artistic journeys. Since his death in 1995, Ross' celebrity status has only grown within pop culture and online communities.

Kings Island amusement park near Cincinnati, Ohio, doesn’t open until May 15, but that didn’t stop them from testing out their new Orion giga coaster this week, with dolls resembling the famed art instructor.

The ride was voted 2020’s “Best New Amusement Park Attraction” by USA TODAY. The coaster takes the dolls down a 300-foot drop before sending them on a high-speed journey over seven more hills at speeds up to 91 mph.

None of the dolls were injured during the ride.
