Boarding house catches fire in Raleigh

Raleigh Fire responded to a fire at a boarding house that happened Tuesday night.

RALEIGH, N.C. — Raleigh Fire responded to a fire at a boarding house that happened Tuesday night.

Officials said they responded to 706 S. Person St. around 8 p.m. They found a boarding house on fire. It took about 20 minutes for 35 firefighters to get the fire under control.

Four people were displaced and were receiving assistance from the Red Cross. The cause of the fire was still under investigation.

There were no injuries.
