SEYMOUR JOHNSON AFB, N.C. — The U.S. Navy’s Blue Angels made a triumphant return to the skies during the annual Wings Over Wayne air show at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base. Organizers said about 100,000 spectators watched the air show over the weekend.

The biggest attraction of the event was a performance by the Blue Angels, who flew for the first time since one of their pilots died in crash at an air show in Beaufort, S.C., on April 21.
