Hey, how you doing? I'm Harrison Tide. Listen, we got the open, boring day of HT Racing Stables Way have opened up our morning on a regular Saturday and let people come on out and enjoy the atmosphere is pretty weather. Fall is finally here. People been locked into the house. The key has been inside the house and pants been trying to do what? They can get activities going for us. So we said, we're gonna open up the bar getting kids out here riding. We got mechanical way. Had some event out there doing a few things on the horse. So it's just the open born day. Really? Hello. Uh, this flash, We're just here trying to enlighten people on the other side. Let him feel. Get that country Southern feel. You know what I'm saying? That black country swagger, how we roll with it. This just average for us. Way wanted to open the barn up to allow everyone to come in to see what way with kids today. My horse way. He's in around him. I take the horse loaded, James up on the horse suit. My horse and I walked him around and talk to the father, of course you think is very important because some Children, they're usually scared because the horse is really big. And when you see, like a big horse or a big and when it's bigger than you, of course you're gonna be a little scared. But, like once you get comfortable, I mean, you're gonna enjoy it, and eventually you're gonna be You're gonna be a proud me. Opened his day up, kids. He's never been around horses. He's never brought. The horses came down here. This is his first time. So what he did was he told all his kids through your mentor ship that a Let's go down there. Holidays. And we want to meet with Dan Glickman, whose agricultural secretary time we got a meeting with them and tell them what the problem was in North Carolina and not only North Carolina all over the nation. Make a long story short. They looked into it, found out it was discrimination. I forgive him, but it's beginning what they did to black farmers, it really is. That's why you don't have it, because they sold the land, they wouldn't finance them. And just a whole bunch of things but black in the day. Black families stick together way have to work a little bit harder. We have to make sure stuff is a one we can't slack on. Anybody test results, things like that. So we just inevitably do that because we know we are what we are. So we had to stay one step ahead way, facing challenges being black way face challenges while every horse get tested. The race. But a couple years ago, me and my partner call we got tested and we had negative test, but they still didn't allow us to raise. It's a hard game to get in and they try to keep us out. But if you if you just keep pushing, you gotta keep pushing. You gotta keep running. We're not giving up. Yeah, it's not too many of us, you know, black people, rad rules and rolling on the stuff. It's kind of interesting that. Did these guys put this rodeo together? Right? Black associations, stuff like that, right? They have somewhere to go like a rodeo. Wow, you are shocked to see people are traveling at home. The PR say level. There's not a bunch of us African American. There's a handful of So I mean it would be in a black cowboy. I mean, it means a lot because there's not a bunch of African Americans out there and it's actually trying to get to that next level. Me being the only with Maryland representing Maryland. I felt like a lot of positive pressure and I felt like I had a job balls out there to, like, represent us, so it was kind of nervous ing, but I had fun and I was one main thing. I want texture I did do was have fun. They taught me to just live. Life goes slow sometimes, but yet hold your ground and be strong. I'm a Rally five fighting in Raleigh, North Carolina. You don't see too many black cowboys and rounding up and I'm going over. If I walked in the store and I have my cowboy boots on my cowboy hat, they look at you, say you're trying to be a white guy or you're trying to be a Mexican or Hispanic per se even in a community that I live in, people that have never seen this before. They also what was going on. Why does he have Cowboy? Why does he have cover boots? And why is it a horse trailer out there full of horses? And that's what foods, if somebody would just seeing me out somewhere and I broke up a conversation and I say, Oh, I'm teaching respect right on. This is they just be like, no way and end up like, Okay, we'll have any horses. I'm guessing it because one of black, maybe also because I'm a female and I say, Oh, we have a horse farm. What about 80 horses in their life. You frequencies. This is happen a couple times when you pull up with a big horse trailer in a big truck and you got some forcing them back at a few, put someone get out and actually do the whole horses for. And it's almost like, you know, this is a business and I said, No, I don't call anyone. These horses belong to me and they'll say, No, seriously, who do you help her? Do you have a car? That's the kind of reaction you get. And it's funny because I find myself pulling my phone now to show them Hey, this is really this is not someone else's forces or this is not something we do for fun. This is who we are. Instances were I don't understand how inward have all of that poor white guy like me que number Stand back and watch.
