Black bear spotted in Durham back yard

The bear made its way through the yard, passing patio seating and a fire pit around 8:45 p.m. on Saturday. The image was captured on a Ring surveillance camera.

Residents of Croasdaile Village and of the Archer Woods subdivision, both northwest of downtown Durham and north of Interstate 85, reported bear sightings recently as well.
