RALEIGH, N.C. — Morning anchor Bill Leslie became the latest member of the WRAL News team to go "over the edge" for a great cause Friday afternoon.
Leslie rappelled down the 30-story Wells Fargo Capitol Center building in downtown Raleigh as part of "Over the Edge."

The annual event allows people who raise $1,000 for Special Olympics North Carolina to rappel down the side of the skyscraper.

Former morning anchor Kelcey Carlson made the journey down in 2013, and in 2012, meteorologist Elizabeth Gardner participated.

Weekend anchor Ken Smith and sports reporter Mandy Mitchell have also made the trip.
