The Big Green Bus, a project to educate the public about alternative fuels, will make a stop at Morehead Planetarium and Science Center in Chapel Hill from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. July 6.

You're invited to climb aboard the veggie oil-powered bus and learn more about green technologies. The bus is steered by a dozen Dartmouth students who are traveling the country in a 1989 MCI coach bus converted to run on waste vegetable oil. It's free.

Their mission, according to the website, is to "create a future that sustains people, the environment and economy."
And since the bus stops on a Tuesday, don't forget that Morehead is offering free previews of its new fulldome shows every Tuesday and Wednesday at 10 a.m.
