Bicyclist killed after being hit by vehicle
A bicyclist was killed after being hit by a vehicle near Zebulon on Saturday.
Posted — UpdatedZEBULON, N.C. — A bicyclist was killed after being hit by a vehicle near Zebulon on Saturday.
The crash happened along NC Highway 96, near Fowler Road. Officials said the crash closed the highway in both directions for a period of time before reopening.
The driver of the vehicle was sent to a local hospital with minor injuries. There was no word on whether charges would be filed.
