WAKE COUNTY, N.C. — The weekend will be clear and beautiful, WRAL meteorologist Kat Campbell said Saturday, as a low-pressure system moving out of the area takes moisture with it.

There’s no chance of rain on Saturday and Sunday, and temperatures will be in the low 60s during the day.

Although it will be dry Saturday, wind gusts between 20 and 26 mph throughout the state could bring trees down, especially with the ground saturated from Friday’s rains.

While a sliver of moisture moves toward North Carolina on Tuesday, there won’t be enough cumulative moisture for rainfall.

Temperatures will spike Tuesday at 68 degrees before falling into the 50s Wednesday and then into the 40s on Thursday and Friday.
