Bank in Cary grocery store robbed
A bank inside a grocery store in Cary was robbed Friday, police said.
Posted — UpdatedCARY, N.C. — A bank inside a grocery store in Cary was robbed Friday, police said.
Police said a man came up to the counter of a SunTrust bank inside a Kroger store, at 1273 NW Maynard Road, and gave a clerk a note saying that he was robbing the place. The clerk handed over money to the man, and he fled.
When police arrived, they thought the suspect was still in the store and moved customers for safety, police said. He was not found.
No arrests have been made.
