RALEIGH, N.C. — Band Together and United Way of the Greater Triangle have announced a benefit concert this fall in downtown Raleigh.
This year's event, dubbed Comeback Fest, will be held Oct. 23 at Red Hat Amphitheater and feature funk-soul trio Khruangbin, soul-revivalist Lee Fields and the Expressions and legendary hip-hop MC Big Daddy Kane.
Presale tickets go on sale Wednesday. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday at 10 a.m.

All profits from the show will go to support the United Way’s upcoming slate of nonprofit partners and Band Together’s local nonprofit recipients from the past 20 years.

Band Together normally teams up with one nonprofit partner each year with proceeds from its Main Event concert going to that organization.

Since its inception, Band Together has donated more than $10 million to 20 philanthropic organizations.
