Baby Steps: It's not goodbye

One year. 52 weeks. Dozens of posts.
We began this undertaking that long ago when we were just a couple with a dream and I can’t thank you all enough for coming along for the ride. And now the time has come to take a short break from the internet world.
My husband and I will soon embark on the next leg of our journey to add to our family and, while the end is still not clear, at least we have a road map. That’s something we couldn’t say when ‘Baby Steps’ started last July. While I want to share all of our experiences with the world I think it’s best for us now to focus on the task at hand. I also think, to avoid some awkwardness with family and friends, we need to take a step back from making all of our moves public while we take some important steps to conceive.
I know this is just the time when we have important stories to share and I hate to take a step back now. However, I completely plan to diary the IVF process and share our story when we reach a more definitive point. I promise I’m not going to leave you hanging!
I hope to be back again in 2012 or before. In the meantime, I’ll be thinking of each of you that opened your hearts and minds to our story. It’s not over yet.
