the pictures are heart breaking. The story behind them is hard to fathom. And whether eight month old Milo Hill will survive is uncertain. After police say his father shook him badly, hurting baby Milo, he had a stroke that affected both sides of his brain. So 3/4 of his brain is dead. This is Milo's mother, Haley Rainy, talking to us from O. H. S used Dorn Becker Hospital, where Milo is being treated. It's really just time now, Uh, if he's gonna wake up, Uh, no. And if not, then he will pass while rainy waits in agony. Two copies of the charging instrument Milos Father, 19 year old Isaiah Hill, appeared in Multnomah County Court today, charged with first degree assault and criminal mistreatment. In court documents, police say Hill first told them he tripped over a dog Saturday while carrying Milo and fell on top of his son. Milo's mom told us her ex boyfriend told her the same story. The two of them share care for Milo, and the baby spends three days a week with his father. Rainie says she was on the way to Hills home when Hill told her he accidentally hurt Milo Immediately. When I saw my son, he was not only his. Eyes were rolled back to the back of his head. His lips were already purple. He was moving, but it wasn't normal baby movement, and he was making a really loud grunting noise in the hospital. Doctors told the parents Milos injuries were inconsistent for a fall, and they believed the baby was abused. And that's when I just had this gut feeling that something was afraid. Court records. Police say he'll then admitted to squeezing and shaking Milo and then dropping him on a bed. It's devastating for a young mother trying to navigate tragedy while hoping for a miracle for her greatest joy. He was just the most happiest baby ever. He was all smiles. He loved everybody and anybody. All I've ever wanted was a little boy.
