CHARLOTTE, N.C. — If socially distancing during the pandemic has you missing all the summer concerts that the Triangle typically offers, then a live music performance at the Charlotte Motor Speedway on August 29 may be just the ticket to making some memories.

The Avett Brothers announced a drive-in style live performance at the motor speedway, which can hold 1,500 cars.

"It'll be our first show in six months, so we can't wait," said Seth Avett in a video promoting the concert.

Guests can park, listen to the live music through their car stereo, and watch on a gigantic 16,000sqft. screen, which is one of the largest in the world.

Tickets go on sale July 17 for the public, and July 16 for members of the Avett Guild. Tickets can be found here.
