Yearly temperatures have warmed significantly across the U.S. and when you just look at April 22nd (Earth Day), temperatures have climbed 2.4 degrees nationally.

Locally, that number is even higher. Earth Day in Raleigh is on average 3.5 degrees warmer now compared to 1970.
