Autopsy: Man slain in barbershop shot twice
A man killed in a downtown Raleigh barbershop two months ago was shot twice, according to an autopsy report released Wednesday.

James Edward Hamer, 29, of Raleigh, was getting his hair cut at Total Styles and Cuts on Aug. 9 when a gunman entered the shop, at 203 E. Cabarrus St., shot him and fled.
An autopsy determined that Hamer was shot once each in the left temple and the neck.
Roger Onaje McKenzie, 23, of 2300 Blacklan Circle, has been charged with first-degree murder in the case. Police haven't disclosed a possible motive for the shooting.
