<b>HILLSBOROUGH, N.C.</b> — The autopsy of a truck driver killed on Interstate 85 in Orange County in September shows "acute intoxication" as a contributing cause to his death in a fiery crash.

Daniel McNeal, 51, of Exmore, Va., died in the crash and fire that closed I-85 near North Carolina Highway 86 for much of a day.

The <a href="https://www.wral.com/video/driver-killed-in-i-85-tractor-trailer-crash/20464944/">N.C. 86 bridge was also closed for days</a> while state Department of Transportation crews assessed structural damage to the overpass.

The family of 25-year-old Alyssa Taylor, of Oak Hill, Va., has consistently argued that they believe she was riding in a tractor-trailer that crashed and burst into flames on Interstate 85 in Hillsborough last month.
