Authorities searching for Edgecombe drowning victim
Multiple agencies were searching Sunday night for a man who disappeared under the water while fishing Sunday afternoon.

PRINCEVILLE, N.C. — Multiple agencies were searching Sunday night for a man who disappeared under the water while fishing Sunday afternoon.
The Edgecombe County Sheriff’s Office said deputies responded to a possible drowning at Shiloh Landing on Highway 258 North in Princeville at about 4:10 p.m.
Deputies said three men were fishing and decided to go for a swim, when one of them disappeared under the water.
Multiple state and local agencies were still trying to locate the man late Sunday night.
