Authorities search for suspect in Durham armed robbery

Durham, N.C. — Durham authorities are searching for a suspect in a Monday night convenience store robbery.
The suspect, wearing a mask and black clothes, entered the Family Fare at 2502 Durham-Chapel Hill Blvd. at 9:12 p.m. and demanded money from the cashier and from two customers.
Authorities said the suspect had a “long gun.”
The suspect took $300 from the register, $90 from the customers and three packs of cigarettes.
The suspect left in a gold Toyota Corolla and was last seen driving on University Drive.
