Man pinned in car, rescued from woods in Selma

A man is being treated for serious injuries after authorities found him in the woods, pinned inside his car, Sunday morning.

SELMA, N.C.A man is being treated for serious injuries after authorities found him pinned inside his car Sunday morning.
According to officials with the North Carolina State Highway Patrol, Larry Holder, 24, from Middlesex, was heading eastbound on N.C. Highway 42 near Thanksgiving Fire Road before 9 a.m. when he swerved to avoid a deer. His car went off the road, into the woods, and crashed into a tree.
The victim was pinned inside his car for two hours before another driver spotted him and called for help.

Holder was rescued from the car and transported to WakeMed with severe injuries.
