KINSTON, N.C. — A Grifton man faces numerous charges after Lenoir County authorities say he flashed a girls soccer team.

Vidalia King Jr., 21, of Contentnea Drive, was charged Wednesday with eight counts each of indecent exposure and taking indecent liberties with a child. He was being held in the Lenoir County Jail under a $40,000 bond.

Authorities said the Richlands High School girls soccer team was headed to a game last Friday when a car pulled alongside the team bus on N.C. Highway 11 and a man inside the car exposed himself to girls on the bus. An adult on the bus noted the car's license number, and authorities traced the car to King.

Earlier this year, King served a one-month sentence for violating his probation stemming from two convictions for indecent exposure, according to state Department of Correction records.
