A local man has been charged with committing sex crimes against a minor, authorities said.

<b>PARKTON, N.C.</b> — A local man has been charged with committing sex crimes against a minor, authorities said.

Keith Allen Hyatt, 20, of 2288 Parkton Tobormorey Road, is charged with statutory sex offense, taking indecent liberties with a child and crimes against nature. He was being held in the Cumberland County Detention Center under a $30,000 secured bond.

Authorities said a 13-year old girl was fondled and forced to engage in inappropriate behavior as she was being driven to a birthday party on Dec. 2.
