LILLINGTON, N.C. — An electrical problem caused a Monday morning fire that killed one person, the Harnett County Fire Marshal's Office said Thursday.

A neighbor called 911 to report the house at 209 Carnation Lane in Lillington was ablaze. Three of the four people inside escaped unharmed, but firefighters found a body inside a bedroom, authorities said.

The Fire Marshal's Office said the fire apparently started in the living room in the center of the house.

Authorities still haven't identified the person killed in the fire.
