CARY, N.C. — After a cold, snowy weekend, followed by two snow days off from school, kids – and their parents – have been feeling cooped up.

As the sun melted some of the snow and ice from the roads on Tuesday, many headed out for a day of fun at Jumpstreet in Cary.

Moms, dads and nannies showed up to turn loose the kids on the big bouncy playgrounds.

Parents and kids alike said that, after a while, having nowhere to go can make you go crazy.

"They had watched TV all day, and they were done with movies, done with coloring," said Jamie Galton. "So, we definitely had to get out and so something active today."

Ben Eade, a third-grader, agreed.

"Yeah, we've been stuck in the house for the entire weekend and barely gone anywhere, and when she said, 'OK, let's go to Jumpstreet,' I said, 'Let's go! I'm ready,'" Ben said.

The manager of Jumpstreet says snow days are good for business, as long as the roads are in decent shape.
