RALEIGH, N.C. — Artsplosure, the annual Raleigh arts festival, has been postponed from spring to fall.
Organizers announced Thursday that the festival, originally planned for May 16-17 in downtown Raleigh, has been moved to Oct. 10-11 due to coronavirus concerns.

“Since the advent of this national emergency, the Artsplosure professional staff has been in frequent communications with the hundreds of performing and visual arts who were originally selected to be a part of Artsplosure in May, and I can report that the majority of them are available and excited to be a part of the return of NC's premier art festival,” Artsplosure executive director Michael Lowder said via a press release.

This is the latest festival to be moved or canceled due to the coronavirus. On Wednesday, organizers announced that the Got to Be NC Festival set for early May had been canceled.
