Art Week at North Hills is underway! An expansion of the previously held Plien Air Art Competition, Art Week features live music and performances, classes for children and adults, and ongoing events around the commons.
Here are a few event highlights:
Moms and dads: Don’t miss The Traveling Teacher Show! Two school teachers are sharing their message about environmental education and protecting the planet. Join them for an interactive and hands-on performance showing how children can make a big difference to our planet on Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. in The Commons.
Stop by The Commons on Wednesday at 4 p.m. for a painting class from Art Buzz, the children's version of Wine and Design for kids ages 5-12. For $30, they’ll have snack and receive all the materials and instruction they need to create a so cool “scoop of ice cream” masterpiece they’ll be proud of. Registration is required.
On Wednesday at 6 p.m. adults can join in the painting fun with Wine and Design as they paint Yellow Tulips. For $40, you get supplies, snacks and a glass of wine, of course! Registration is required.
Mesmerizing Arts is bringing some unique heat to The Commons on Friday 8 p.m., just as it gets dark. Don’t miss their fire dancers and LED performers.
