An abandoned house went up in flames early Friday morning in what investigators are calling a suspicious fire.

<b>KNIGHTDALE, N.C.</b> — An abandoned house went up in flames early Friday morning in what investigators are calling a suspicious fire.<br />

The fire ripped through the building on Faison Ridge Road shortly after 1 a.m.  Firefighters spent about an hour getting it under control.<br />

Although circumstances led officials to deem the fire suspicious, investigators had not determined its cause.
