RALEIGH, N.C. — Authorities suspect arson was behind a one-alarm fire at an unoccupied house in Raleigh early Thursday.

A 911 caller reported a fire in a one-story house at 2706 Vanderbilt Ave., about a block off Hillsborough Street, around 4:30 a.m., according to the incident report.

Twenty-five firefighters labored for about a half-hour to bring the blaze under control. No one was injured.
