Arson charge filed in apartment fire
Fire investigators have charged a Durham woman with arson in connection with a Tuesday morning apartment fire.
Posted — UpdatedDURHAM, N.C. — Fire investigators have charged a Durham woman with arson in connection with a Tuesday morning apartment fire.
Tina Faye Edwards, of 1266 E. Lawson St., Apartment D, was charged with first-degree arson. A fire in her apartment was contained to the first-floor bedroom, and no injuries were reported, authorities said.
Investigators looking into the origin of the fire determined it had been set, authorities said.
