Arrest made in Fayetteville bank robbery

Fayetteville police identified and arrested the suspect responsible for a robbery that occurred Friday afternoon at the First Citizens Bank at 3604 Ramsey St.

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Fayetteville police identified and arrested the suspect responsible for a robbery that occurred Friday afternoon at the First Citizens Bank at 3604 Ramsey St.

Manfred Elzie Miller, 57, of the 600 block of Frink Street, was arrested Saturday around 9:51 a.m. after authorities located a vehicle he owned at the Carolina Motor in at 2533 Gillespie St.

Miller was charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon and possession of stolen property. He was being held at the Cumberland County Detention Center under a $100,000 secured bond.
